| so im sitting in the computer lab at sam.. cause my computer in my dorm isnt working. i think thats because im not very technical and i do not know how to set it up really.. im sad that summer is over. and classes start tomorrow so i guess that i am almost a real college student..
summer was fun! this was the best summer i have ever had. i think some of the most fun was chasing the armadillos after the parties.. that one almost got rozzi! haha.. i cant wait til next summer!

if anyone ever has the chance to go to any conference at mo ranch or synod, get up and go. i know its cheesy, but your life can be significantly altered (in a good way) by going. and this is the conclusion of my summer church camps..

| roxana and i are sitting here in AP MACROECONOMICS and we have decided that its pointless to try to learn any of this stuff.
but the exciting thing is... im now eighteen and i had the best birthday of my life thanks to my friends.
i took the old crew from eighth grade out to dinner at ninfa's last thursday. alex went too. she is a new addition. we had a blast. and we also felt so grown up because my parents were not there and we had all driven ourselves to the restaurant. the most surprising event that happened (or rather did not happen) was we did not talk to any boys or even take pictures of hott boys like we had done in the past. and kristen refused to get the bartender's number (and yes she has done that before).
on friday, scotty took me out for my birthday. he is so sweet and so loving. i am very thankful for him.
on saturday, sarah and krystina spent the night.... we went CRAZY! the only thing that is appropriate to put on here is that we went streaking at four in the morning, which doesnt really do much because i live in the middle of the country. but it was fun anyway. and they took me to get my ear pierced. i think they were more nervous than i was about it. i love you guys! PFS forever!

| insight- n.- the capacity to discern the true nature of a situation
if insight was a crayon, i know exactly what i would call it- green fire. i used to think without really thinking at all i knew exactly what green fire was. but now i know more about green fire and insight. we have all seen green fire in chemistry class, but only a few know exactly how the fire is green. only a few have the insight to each specific situation. we ignore those few. we take those few for granted. insight is so precious, and we all take it for granted.
